Symonite New Zealand ‘Cost & Quality’ Statement.
While we regard ourselves as being as cost competitive as any other company in the Aluminium Composite Panel industry, we will not compromise standards of design, manufacture and installation to gain business through cost reduction. We prefer to save our clients unnecessary expense by rigorously pursuing efficiencies in pre-planning, design and production and introducing management processes that allow us to work effectively with the client’s site personnel during the installation phase. This business model has seen us come to be regarded as a leading installer of composite panelling, based on a reputation of delivering projects that continue to perform to a consistent, quality standard post completion. Recently we have also been asked to take on an increasing amount of restoration project commissions in leaky building situations.
An overview of our processes.
At the beginning of each new project we meet with the Architects, Developers and Builders to ascertain how our technical capability and experience can help develop custom solutions to suit each particular project. We site measure the project, prepare project specific workshop drawings for approval, taking into account wind loadings, etc. and identify cost saving opportunities through efficient design and panel usage.Planning the installation and designing the details prior to commencement allows Symonite New Zealand Limited to overcome the majority of site problems at an early stage. This pre-planning and attention to detail allows us to complete within budget and on time.We source from a number of manufacturers worldwide, (to ensure reliability and variety of supply) fabricate in our own factory, deliver to site and install the fabricated panels.Only in this way can our design and specification team guide the project through all stages and be confident of guaranteeing the final result.
Project Management/Design Service.
Every project is assigned a manager from the start whose responsibility it is to deliver the job to specification and budget. The client only has to deal with one point of contact and lines of communication remain clear.Working with the project manager and client our experienced Estimating Department are able to offer expert advice and alternative specifications helping to make projects more cost effective and keeping them within budget.
Aiming for defect free installation.
Symonite New Zealand Limited is a ‘quality committed’ organisation, We believe excellent service and quality can only be delivered when based on real experience. Our skilled site management team are constantly striving towards zero defect handover and early completion. Working with the client’s site agent during construction we will assist with, and overcome, unforeseen day-to-day problems experienced on construction sites. Installation is carried out by our fully experienced operatives to the very highest standards.

The Symonite manufacturing difference.
The Symonite NZ cladding system incorporates specially designed aluminium extrusions at all panel sides which protect and strengthen the folded edge detail. Our panels are not “double or back folded” and the extrusion system is needed to ensure that the face fold can be engineered for wind and seismic loading requirements. This extrusion system allows for continuous support behind the folded detail with no interference between the fixing screws of the separate adjoining panels as they are installed on site. The extrusions are set in place in our factory from the back face of the panels, and are rivet fixed and bonded in place. The finished detail allows for more accurate site fixing as well as the other obvious advantages of strength and performance.ACP is ozone friendly: Neither during the production of ACP nor after it being applied as a building cladding, are volatile propellant agents of type CFC set free. ACP core material does not contain nitrogen, chlorine or sulphur. Because of its positive contribution to the protection of the environment ACP is a natural choice for projects in any environmentally sensitive situation.
