The Pā – University of Waikato

WINNER: Te Kāhui Whaihanga NZIA Waikato & Bay of Plenty Architecture Award (Education) 2024

An incredible and thoughtful space, The Pā is an innovative and versatile facility designed to transform the on-campus experience for the University and its community. The use of the warm hues of equitone created a space of earthiness and natural beauty.

LOCATION: Hamilton – The University of Waikato Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato| ARCHITECT: Architectus, Jasmax, Design Tribe, and Wraight & Associates. | MAIN CONTRACTOR: Hawkins NZ | PRODUCTS & WORK CARRIED OUT: Installation of Equitone natura in colours 074, 331 and 359. Alucolux in champagne metallic was used for interior saw tooth detailing.  Interior flashings around door frames and installation of signage panels.  PHOTOGRAPHER: Mark Scowen
